This book, titled "Agenda Focus 1: Disasters, Crises, and Pursuits, " aims to bring you closer to understanding significant events, crises, disasters, and the search for solutions in Turkey and around the world.Through our writings, we have strived to analyze these events comprehensively and impartially, both on a national and international scale. In this volume, we delve into recent natural disasters, wildfires, human rights violations, and political crises.
From the extensive damage caused by wildfires in Diyarbakir and Mardin to natural disasters in other regions of Turkey, we cover a broad spectrum of topics. Particularly, we explore the allegations of deliberate delays in responding to incidents in Eastern and Kurdish regions and the impact of these allegations on social peace. Additionally, we address crucial issues such as human rights violations and the rise of authoritarian regimes worldwide.
These violations threaten democratic values and human rights across the globe. In this context, we highlight the adverse effects of discriminatory and malevolent reactions that harm social peace and unity. Our mission is to evaluate these events, inform the public accurately, and propose viable solutions.
