As believers of the Lord Jesus Christ, we are ourselves insufficient in achieving anything that we want. Our ability to get anything done only comes from God Almighty. Put another way, we are helpless by ourselves to make any progress on our own, unless with the help of God. You have to be made competent by God for you to experience progress in anything you lay hold of. For we were designed before creation to live dependent on God.
We were designed to always solicit help from Him.
