Résumé

One horrible day Dr. Kit Jones is finally on her way home from work when her best fried and co-worker Mitsuhide Akechi is completely blindsided and is left unable to sift through the events in his own life leading him to ask her for help. Kit of course steps up and helps Mitsuhide but in the process finds out her own family could possibly be involved somehow. Nothing makes sense as June, Mitsuhide's twin sister, who has been comatose for five years since a horrible car accident, is now pregnant.
The two have to do what they can to help each other find a way to handle all of the events surrounding June's mysterious pregnancy. After the initial shock of everything the two have to wade through medical exams and getting a few court orders but in the meantime things have changed between the two friends. As their lives become fuller because of each other and dealing with this situation they find a happiness neither of them thought they would have.
As they deal with the case that has engulf them they prepare for a life after it raising the two babies Mitsuhide's sister is carrying. Through ups and downs we watch these two battle to see the light at the end of the tunnel. However they are left to wonder is this just the beginning of the nightmare? Though fictional the plot is based of off headlines in 2019 in a care facility where at least one woman was raped while she was on life support systems and did deliver the child safely.
People were left to deal with the aftermath and help raise the child. This story is a reflection of those people and how it got to that point.

Biographie de Kat Thomas

Born in the late seventies she grew up in a small town and dreamt of getting as far away as possible and seeing the world.
