Résumé

A true story of a woman's journey from multiple traumas and medicating with food to self-love.  Born in 1950 in Portland, Oregon, this book details recovery from feelings of unworthiness and disconnection to creating a career as a trial lawyer, finding a true soul mate in a relationship that has lasted over forty years, the death of a child, the raising of a child with facial asymetry who blossomed into a whole, empathetic, wonderful man, and ultimately a realization that the one thing that never changes, is our relationship with creator.
Soothed by the beauty and magic of the natural world, it is obvious that we are all connected, to other human beings, to the four leggeds, the winged ones, the crawling ones, the standing nation and to the wind itself.  Blessed by multiple authentic teachers and friends who truly love and support me, at age 70, I gained understandings that allow me to comprehend how little I know, a trait that has served me well in my professional, personal and spiritual life.
Orphaned at age 68, I found forgiveness and guidance from spirit once I truly learned to listen.
