Silberklang

Silberklang im Kirchenjahr for mixed choir (SAB and piano ad lib.) is THE collection of sacred choral music for senior citizens' choirs and older church choirs. Singing is a great hobby for many people, not only in terms of music, but also in terms of socializing in the choir. As the singers grow older, singing in extreme registers becomes especially difficult. That is why the arrangements of hymns and psalm settings, which are guaranteed to give your choir a lot of pleasure, are kept in a comfortable singable range (soprano to E2, alto to C2, men not deeper than G).
As most choirs consist of more female than male singers, the arrangements are written in three-part form. Last but not least, the choral score, in extra-large print and with a clear layout, in combination with the pleasant tonal range will ensure that the senior citizens' choir can shine into old age. The continuous piano accompaniment supports the choir, providing a sense of security. With Silberklang, (church) choirs are able to still perform polyphonic works, even in their long-time formations.
