James N. Miller is Professor of Analytical Chemistry at Loughborough University and President of the Analytical Division of the Royal Society of Chemistry (1998-2000). He has published numerous reviews and papers on analytical techniques and is a former recipient of the Royal Society of Chemistry's SAC Silver Medal and Theophilus Redwood Lecturer award. He serves on the Editorial Advisory Boards of The Analyst, the Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis, and Luminescence. Jane C. Miller is an experienced teacher of statistics at higher education and sixth form level and has also written A-level Statistics texts.
