Life is hard. You know it, I know it. We all know it. But there are some certainties in the midst of all the uncertainty that we can rely upon: 1. There are forces greater than ourselves, our enablers, and our oppressors. 2. We all have an independent locus of control and therefore free will.  3. Consensus regarding what is right and what is wrong has been absurdly consistent over some ten thousand years.  I write to do what just happened above: to free your mind a bit more in a universe full of complexity - often devoid of necessary or proper causation.  You know that old saying, "Most of the time one is his own worst enemy?" Sure you do.
Well, when you read my works, my primary mission is that you and I may become mutual allies of our own selves and each other.  I wear many hats, but I must admit that for the aforementioned reasons, being your author friend is one of my absolute favorites.
