Biographie de Juanita Headley
Juanita M. Headley is an international speaker; licensed New York attorney; author of Can You Keep A Secret?, and the Founder and CEO of Changing Cases. Changing Cases is an international organization dedicated to the eradication of homelessness and sexual exploitation through educating and empowering the general public on human trafficking. Projects are based primarily in the Philippines and India, but many of the educational initiatives are focused in New York, Washington DC, Trinidad, Tobago, Ghana, and St Vincent and The Grenadines. Since 2012 Miss Headley has been spending periods of 6 months serving as a pro bono attorney in the United States serving in the indigent community.
In her current capacity Miss Headley gives human trafficking talks to audiences of up to 800+ which have included the army; police officers; students; social workers; teachers; parents; Cebu's Mayor; Filipino Barangay officials and employees at the Office of the Prime Minister, Trinidad and Tobago. She has been featured in St Vincent and Trinidadian newspapers, The Guardian; The Mirror; and Newsday; and made numerous media appearances on Ghanaian, New York, Vincentian and Trinidadian TV and radio stations.
Miss Headley is working on a number of projects; including hosting multiple global screenings of SOLD; serving the indigent community throughout Asia; and is in the process of building open hiring policy bakeries with the vision of hiring former prostitutes, the former homeless and ex convicts.
