Résumé

Much has been written about overcoming temptation. Do a Google search and you will see what I mean. Most offer some great advice like quoting scripture, fast, pray, seek counseling, etc. These are all great and very powerful ways to deal with temptation. I recommend them all. However, this book assumes you are already doing those things, but could still use some practical tips for day to day life.

À propos de l'auteur

Biographie de Glenn Brown

I grew up in the Catholic Church and learned many things about the Bible and God. I was taught to have great reverence for God, the Bible, the Pastor, and the church itself. However, I never really gave my life to Christ until later in life. A friend of mine was out street witnessing and handing out gospel tracks in downtown Louisville. KY. I was on my way to a bar when my friend stopped me and handed me a track.
before that day, I thought people who stood outside handing out tracks and proclaiming, "You must be Born Again, " were a little crazy! I knew this guy, and I knew he had his head on straight, so I took the track with me into the bar. As I was sitting, drinking a beer, and waiting for my friends, I read the track and realized I needed to be born again! I prayed the prayer and I have never looked back! That was in September of 1985.
By 1988, I was studying to become an ordained minister and had started working for a large church in Louisville KY. I received my License to preach in 1991 and was ordained in 1996.
