The third installment in "The Vampire Haiku Chronicles" finds every vampire in a precarious situation. Misake and Uriel have been captured by Boss Oh and are in route to New Orleans and Chancellor Valiquette to face their long-awaited punishment. Cyprian is still presumed dead with the unknown whereabouts of his body and after his voodoo doll was violently skewered and decapitated. But their immediate situations created a ripple effect within their clans and allies have been dispatched with a sense of urgency to restore order. Queen Mictecacihuatl has enlisted the notorious Mexico City cartel vampires Camazotz and El Galán to intercept the precious cargo bound for New Orleans.
