John Lars Shoberg has degrees in both Chemistry and Information Technology, so he knows a little bit about the science he keeps blending into his science fiction. He has also been reading science fiction his entire life, starting with 'the Classic ABC's' - Asimov, Bradbury, Clark... John currently lives in Groveland, FL, with his wife, the family dog, and his collections of videos, books and artwork.
John usually attends 4-5 science fiction conventions in the Florida/Georgia area each year, and sometimes the World Science Fiction Convention, if it's in the States. At these conventions, he might be in costume and / or on a panel, discussing some aspect of science fiction.
