Still recovering from losing her home and the man she thought she would marry, Adelaide finds new friends and the promise of another civilization far from Anyra. As Adelaide and the refugees unravel the mystery of the Totem and the magic holding Anyra captive, the fires of rebellion spread throughout the people with Adelaide at the center.
The clock is winding down as the High Priestess grows more desperate to find Adelaide so that she may be sacrificed in order to keep the Totem at bay. Adelaide must now face a harrowing choice.
