As the Knight Commander of the Holy-Knights, Ayla became the champion of a brutal crusade that saw tens of thousands of lives wasted. At the height of her success she was sacrificed as a scapegoat for the sake of the Crown Prince and the Nobility who used her and propped her up as their Knight. Upon death she opens her eyes a decade before the start of her Crusade. Her first thoughts are not of revenge, but of how she came to live again and what her second life means to her and the people she hurt during her crusade.
