Résumé

Do you need healing from the heartbreaking consequences of your past? Have intrusive memories, soul ties, and debilitating anger bombarded your thoughts, kept you in bondage and consumed your very soul?Katherine takes you on a personal journey of her life, love, and losses. This is not a fairy-tale. It is a candid, courageous, real-life story of a woman broken beyond recognition. Childhood abuse and abandonment, drug addiction, prostitution, anger, and emotional distress form this narrative.
But it is also dynamic evidence of the power of divine intervention. Whether you are a sinner or saint suffering from trauma, haunted by your troublesome past, hurt by the people you trusted most, hooked on drugs and alcohol, searching for true love, behind the jailhouse bars or a "fly" girl devastated on the inside, this book can help you. The difficulties you face right now may be linked to your past, but your past doesn't have to control your present or future."Katherine's journey expresses the prophetic revelation of coming out of the wilderness.
I believe this book is a catalyst for transformation." -John Harke, Passion Ministries"This book reaches into the psychology of men in ways that traditional therapy falls short. It's a microcosm of the depth of divine grace." -Dr. G. E. Lassiter Sr., Love Unlimited Church"Katherine is one of the most influential leaders, powerful speakers, progressive thinkers and writers in last 20 years." -Bishop John Mark Richardson Sr., New Journey Jurisdiction

Biographie de Katherine Elam Simpson

Evangelist Katherine Elam Simpson was born and raised in the inner city of Watts, Los Angeles. Her childhood was filled with difficult times. It was the love she shared with her siblings that enabled her to cope with alcoholic and drug-addicted parents. Little did Katherine know that the Lord had a plan for her life. She credits her zeal for life to her grandparents, the late Louis F. Elam Jr. and Dorothy L.
Elam. Their unconditional love snatched her from the gates of hell. Katherine credits her spiritual walk to her uncle and aunt, the late Elder George and Elouise Richardson (Bethel Church of God in Christ) for the seed they planted in 1973. Still wounded and hurting from her childhood trauma, Katherine became involved in a lifestyle that nearly killed her. In 1986, she experienced the unexpected death of her five-year-old daughter, Kuleshia.
The Lord began the process of turning her life around. Years later Katherine rededicated her life to the Lord at Trinity Chapel of Compton, California, under the direction of Pastor Edward T. Robinson Sr. Katherine answered the call from the Lord by enrolling in the Saints of Value World Ministries Training Center, where she graduated as an ordained minister. Continuing her education at Esther Mallett International Bible University in 2002, Katherine graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in biblical theology.
Katherine is a vibrant and charismatic minister. She is noted for her soul-stirring messages and practical application of Christian principles. Through her evangelistic messages at church events, revivals, women's conferences, and Sunday morning worship services as the co-pastor of New Region For Christ, the Lord uses her to preach the gospel to hurting, neglected, and spiritually dying people. She brings a message of hope that "you can make it." Katherine has been endorsed by many great and influential leaders including her spiritual father and mentor, the late Edward T.
Robinson Sr. and Elder Cardell Candler, respectively. Aside from her ministerial duties, Katherine is the proud wife of Pastor LaFrance Simpson. Together they are the parents of five wonderful children. She is also the founder of Women Waving the Banner of Freedom (WWTBOF). This ministry conducts annual conferences and has a thriving mentorship program that "Builds stronger women God's way." Katherine says, "Where He sends me, I'll go!" A woman on a mission, she is uniquely articulate and highly respected.
