Biographie de Mark Feigan

Dr Mark Feigan MSocSci (Policy and Human Services) RMIT University, PhD La Trobe University, retired from his policy and research role at the Victorian Office of the Public Advocate in 2022. He was awarded a PhD in 2011 for writing the first scholarly history of that organisation. He has had a long involvement in advocacy for people with disability, starting as a Citizen Advocate in the late 1980s.
He was the inaugural Executive Officer of Disability Justice Advocacy Inc. (DJA) for twelve years from 1990. During the 1990s and the early 2000s he also served on the Board of the Victorian Council of Social Services and was later made a life member for his contribution. He has also worked in disability program areas within government departments. He was the principal author of Absolutely everyone, the Victorian Government state disability plan 2017-2020.
His two enduring passions are reading science fiction and collecting crystals. He writes science fiction stories with his life-long friend, Steven Fox.
