Hello wonderful reader and new friend - I wrote TV sit-coms when TV only had 4 channels and people smoked in elevators on shows set in a hospital. Yes I am old but not quite as old as that makes me sound. I had an excellent adventure writing sit-com in a hey day that included so many amazing shows and I got to play a part as a writer on a couple popular ones, Cheers and Roseanne. I had so many fascinating times in that career and other times it seemed like I had signed myself in to a very swanky private mental asylum.
And then, one day after you worked there for about 20 years, Hollywood checks your underwear and discovers you are still a woman but now you are...old. So I had to try another career and another try at life. So I give you 2 books. I think they are both perfect for the beach or reading on a long plane ride. And they both are killed with heart and big emotions. Plus you might laugh your butt off while reading them - funny is an instinct that is hard to break.
So thank you and look for me and more books that will make you laugh and cry and have all kinds of feels. You deserve it. Some of this is borderline memoir, but there is only one version of the truth and I can't be bothered to remember it. So I fictionalized it for a better, faster, more exciting read for you.
