Chastity was a girl who often talked to a unicorn in her dreams. At a timewhen it seemed everything was lost, she met Honesty the unicorn whoexplained things to her in a way she understood. Well, actually she did notunderstand everything Honesty said because it was complicated. But shedid know that she had a friend that would always tell her the truth. Sometimes it is best to hear the truth straight from the horse's mouth.
Chastity had human friends as well, but although their intentions weregood, there are limitations in the human world. Humans are swayed bytheir lust for money, sex, acceptance by society, and the limits of theirunderstanding based on their own experience. The humans did not always believe Chastity. To them, Chastity was anadult man named Chandler who looked weird and had bizarre autisticbehaviors and could not speak quickly or remember what happened even 5minutes ago.
What they didn't know was that Chastity was not fullypresent in their world. She was also in the world of her dreams. It startedas a dream in her sleep, but later on, it seemed as though the dream waswith her even while awake. Chastity could not really know which world was more real anymore. Shedreamed of a place that she named Animal Sanctuary where all theanimals were happy even as she lived on planet earth where humans killedanimals by the billions.
She may not have known which world was realanymore but she knew which world she preferred. And Chastity started to see herself as the girl she knew she was, even inthe mirror. For there was no longer one mirror but two. The mirror createdby the hands of man and also the mirror of truth, which was the silver hornon the head of Honesty the unicorn. The humans could not see whatChastity was seeing. But Chastity could also see the good in herself andothers as well as the bad.
As Chastity lived her double life of being present in both worlds, she hadconversations with Honesty about a variety of topics. Some were writtenbut others were spoken only and would never be told. There came a time when Chastity had some serious questions to askHonesty. Nobody knows exactly when. Time no longer applies in animalsanctuary nor do all ideas which are only human opinions. Chastitywanted the truth and so she cried for the unicorn to speak to her again.
