Résumé

Any man can be a father, but it takes a special person to be a dad. It's even more special to be a dad to someone else's child. Grieving the loss of his father, seven year old Terry Graves befriends a homeless veteran suffering from the ravages of war. As their relationship develops, they discover love and devotion can heal the deepest wounds. The legacy forged over the span of many years allows Terry the opportunity to share that depth of the love to another child who desperately needs a friend.

À propos de l'auteur

Biographie de R. J. Stevens

R. J. Stevens developed a love of books at an early age in rural Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. That love led her to writing poems and songs. In her seventh-grade year of school, she earned an honorable mention in the Broken Arrow High School Anthology book, for a Haiku she created as an assignment. During her young adult years, life took an unexpected turn, however she continued to write short stories, poems and songs.
One popular short story, Inspector Angel, was self-published in a small magazine called the Eagle's Cry. Due to a forced retirement, her family encouraged her to begin writing again. After a two-year struggle, she published Charlie's Park Bench. Shortly thereafter, the first book of her series, Heroes of Wolf Creek, Will's Heart was born. A Western, Romantic, Suspense. Ginger's Hope book two followed shortly thereafter.
Trace's Star book three was published in 2022. Josh's Dream published in 2023, and the last book of the series Elysa's Savior published in 2023 on Amazon. Her newest project is in the works. During the process of creating her stories, she discovered that her heart slowly healed from past hurts. Now, R. J. writes solely for her readers enjoyment as they escape from the pressures of life to a peaceful moment in time.
