Biographie de William Cutrer

William Cutrer, M. D., is a licensed obstetrician/gynecologist, a certified Christian sex therapist, an expert in reproductive technologies, and an ordained minister. He serves as the C. Edwin Gheens Professor of Christian Ministry, and Director, Gheens Center for Family Ministry at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. He is also on the faculty of The Institute for Sexual Wholeness, staffs the clinic at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and is medical director of A Woman's Choice Clinic.
Prior to his current ministry he served as an area director for the Christian Medical and Dental Associations. Dr. Cutrer holds an master's degree in biblical studies from Dallas Theological Seminary. Dr. Cutrer is the author of Under the Fig Leaves, Family Building: Fact, Fallacy, and Faith, and Choices: A Pregnancy Guide and The Church Leader's Handbook. He has coauthored seven works: When Empty Arms Become a Heavy Burden: Encouragement for Couples Facing Infertility; Sexual Intimacy in Marriage (now in its third edition); Lethal Harvest (a best-selling Christy fiction finalist); Deadly Cure; False Positive; The Infertility Companion; and The Contraception Guidebook: Options, Risks, and Answers for Christian Couples.
He has contributed to several additional works, including Genetic Engineering: A Christian Response; Kregel's "Biobasics" series; and FamilyLife's popular Simply Romantic Nights. Dr. Cutrer teaches a variety of workshops on marriage, infertility, spiritual disciplines, and healthcare.
