Tommy Thompson, seeking protection from the Brooklyn gangs that were starting to form around him, devised a plan and became the founder and leader of one of the most violent crews. His personal feelings about law enforcement being ineffective, left him an arena to operate in that defied the law. This was the birth of The Dutchmen, a gang with no remorse, using murder as a motivating force to achieve their goals.
