As a child, Joe Skillin was taught about care for the elderly when his sick grandmother moved in to live with the family. Fast forward to his adult life, when he witnessed his sister and his mother become gripped by Alzheimer's. Finally, his mother-in-law, living with Alzheimer's, moved into his own home where he and his wife took care of her for 12 years. When living in Boston, he founded The Center for Motivation and Achievement.
Eventually he moved to Atlanta and opened his own marketing and advertising company. Joe is an author and a motivational speaker. He spends several hours each week volunteering to help people in need. He lives in Atlanta, where he is blessed to have his three children living close by.
