In this short story, Victor LaMacchia is a national celebrity - a former NFL Pro Bowl player and the chairman of the company that he created, Dark Voodoo, that caters to the upscale motorcycle enthusiast. He also works "off the grid" to help his friend, the DA of New Orleans deal with criminals that have managed to slip through the long arm of the law. He loves that it's perfect way for him, a ruthless serial killer, to give back to his community!
