Retirement plans are put on hold for empty-nesters John and Sally Ross when they discover a dark side about their son. John Ross was expecting to take it easy in retirement after a long newspaper career. But the aging baby boomer learned that like the news cycle, life is unpredictable, with twists and turns-some daily. And they even occur during the Christmas holiday season, a time of happiness and good will for most families.
When John and his wife, Alice, learn that their son, Brody, has been leading a double life, they must navigate uncharted territory to lead him out of the darkness.
