Nikola has always had body image issues. No matter how much time she spends in the gym, she keeps comparing herself to perfection and falling short. That's why Maria drives her insane - because Maria is perfection. She's strong, beautiful, confident and well-endowed. She's everything Nikola wants in a woman, and everything she wants to be. Plagued by her insecurities, Nikola reasons that the only use the perfect woman could have for someone like herself is as a toy, and thus the only way she can even approach Maria's divine radiance is to surrender herself utterly.
