Phil has a crush on his best friend, the straight quarterback at school, Adam. At the dance, the power goes off and Phil takes the chance to kiss Adam. But when the lights go on, the quarterback doesn't realize Phil is the one that kissed him and wonders who was the girl that kissed him only for the head cheerleader, Jennifer, to overhear and lie that she did it. After spending a considerable amount of time pretending that nothing happened between them and watching Adam and Jennifer's relationship bloom, Phil can't take it anymore and confesses everything to Adam, who surprisingly kisses Phil.
But the quarterback is straight, right?
