In this, the first short story in a series about her personal journey, Alaura begins to have dark dreams filled with the sound of a voice that tugs at her, body and soul. She has always been a bit of an introvert, focused on her studies, but now these dreams lead her down a path of self-exploration that opens her to a whole new world of possibilities and magic. Training as a sorceress at the Academy of Magic is no longer enough.
