Rachel Monroe (aka Jack) is in a marriage with a man that loves her and is absolutely devoted to her. Shane has asked nothing of her, and she gives him her body but doesn't give her love. After Shane is blackmailed into giving away their genetic material, Jack declares war on the culprits. Shane is dragged along with her plotting, until Jack meets her match in Ricky M. The war between Jack and Ricky M leads to her captivity, takes casualties as well as adds friends.
Sent in to rescue her, Ralph aids in her escape from captivity, together they run, only for Jack to land in one cage then another. She gains augmentations and loses her freedom and nearly her life.
