Résumé

Recently widowed Megan Redford returns to London, the city of her birth. There, she meets a young man named Andrew who remarks upon her resemblance to Meghan, his long lost love. While traveling to the countryside she finds a deserted manor house. Becoming obsessed with the house, she arranges to purchase and restore it, only then finding out that it is considered haunted by the locals. She meets Gray, Andrew's brother, who agrees to help restore the house.
She finds a book, written by the house's former owner, that tells the history of the house and its former occupants. This seems to bring the house alive with ghosts and hauntings. Strange events begin to occur in the house and these culminate in Megan finding the skeleton of Meghan, Andrew's lost girlfriend.

À propos de l'auteur

Biographie de Anne Flint

My husband and I currently occupy an old house in South Carolina. Our cats, Binx and Twinkle, and the dogs, Kensie, Benji, and Rhett are constant companions and a source of entertainment. My son, Ryan, is a filmmaker. I love to restore and remodel my home. I also love soaking up the sun and working on the flowers in my yard. If it is too cold for outdoor flowers, orchids will do just fine. I love to read mysteries, histories, and science.
Movie watching is also a favorite activity. My husband, Eric, and I have been members of two gourmet cooking groups for many years. Although warm beaches are my favorite place to be, England is my favorite place to explore. I'm always ready for travel, taking my camera with me to capture those pictures that beg to be painted. You can see those at www.fettigrewhall.com. Look under the "about Anne" tab.
This book is the first in a series about the history or biography of Fettigrew Hall. I like to describe it as a ghostly murder mystery. More adventures and mysteries will reveal themselves in the next books. The second book The 13th Century about the first structure on the property during the Crusades. The next contemporary book about Megan and Gray is underway but not yet finished. Good Reading, Anne
