Résumé

After coming to grips with her repressed sexuality and purging her soul of all her demons, Alysse takes a much-needed vacation after completing grad school. A few weeks in sunny Florida. While lounging by the pool she meets eighteen-year-old Lucinda. Despite their age difference, the two girls hit it off instantly. The girls' friendship quickly develops into something intimate. The two share their secrets and Alysse learns that Lucinda is struggling with the same issues she had when she was eighteen.
Using all she had learned from her mentor; Alysse guides the young girl through her doubts and hangups and emerges a woman who knows her mind. Lucinda's discovery of what was missing in her life, allowed her to see there was a big world out there and hanging around with Alysse would never allow her to grow and she tells Alysse she is leaving. Despondent at the loss of Lucinda, Alysse is hurt and feels her confidence is deteriorating, not sure what to do next.
But a knock at her door brings a surprise visitor and opens the book to a new chapter in her life.
