Hand in hand, Anika and Jed navigate through the narrow streets of their hometown, feeling the weight of judgmental stares bearing down on them like a suffocating cloak. As an Indian immigrant and a hucow, Anika has always been met with discrimination and prejudice, but being in a relationship with Jed has intensified it to an unbearable level. Now, it isn't just her that people are trying to hurt, but the man she loves, too, calling him 'hucuck, ' a hucow's cuck.
Yet, they hold onto each other for support and push through the harsh whispers and venomous words together. After all, she loves Jed, who is a man who can give her sexual pleasure that no other man can. On the way to visit Anika's large family Anika makes Jed a member of Mile High Club. When they approach her home, Anika can't help but feel anxious about their reaction to Jed. Despite his warm smile and kind nature, she knows that her culture may not readily accept him.
However, to her surprise, her father - who used to be the most important person in her life until Jed came along - quickly welcomes him as his future son-in-law. Anika's mother sees Jed suspiciously and cannot understand her daughter's choice of partner. During their visit, Jed privately surprises Anika by dropping to one knee and proposing to her. With tears in her eyes, she ecstatically says yes.
