Résumé

When Granny's grandaughter dies giving birth to twins, a boy and a girl, she decides to give one to the dying girl's sister who had been wanting to adopt. The other to the biological father though he doesn't know about the child. All goes well until Bailey, now having adopted the boy, hears about Rigsby, Wyoming, and decides it's the perfect place to raise her child, not where he is now in New York.
She thinks there was only one bably and that the girl went home with her daddy to Rigsby. It is only after she moves there and people seem to see a resemblance, that Brad begins to think they are cousins, unknown to each other. It is a shock to discover the truth. While they are working that out, a young girl who has an obsession with Brad attacks Bailey and later sends someone she hopes will kill Bailey.
Brad insistes Bailey and the boy stay on his ranch where they are safer. Their regard for each other about the raising of the twins soon turns to love. That is when Marnie, the obseesed girl, sends the killer to the ranch. Will all that turmoil and history be too much for the couple to make a future together?

À propos de l'auteur

Biographie de Sandy Grissom

Sandy Grissomhas loved books all her life. That love began by listening to her older sister read when she was still too young to discover the magic for herself. She's read everything from history to the phone book but her favorite authors are James Michener, Agatha Christie and the mystic William Blake. Over the years, romantic novels became a favorite. The top of that list is Pride and Prejudice.
When she retired she had too much time on her hands and spent too much money and trips to the library to get books in order to satisfy her restless soul. It was then she began to write herself. As an adult she held a variety of jobs, all of them grist for her imaginative mind. The occupations in Choppy Waters will hopefully inspire someone to fight for their own dreams, to never give up on themselves or on love.
A widow, Sandy recently moved to southern Indiana where she lives near the younger of her two beloved sisters.
