Valerie wakes in a holding cell of a mental hospital, away from Todd, the man she has fallen in love with, as well as her best friend, Jennifer. She quickly learns that the only person willing to help her now is an attendant named Rodney who believes her story about the otherworldly creature that truly murdered the people she has been incarcerated for committing.
