Brian and Robin Mitchell have been married for fifteen years, and seem to have the perfect life. Brian is a successful plastic surgeon, while Robin is blessed to be a homemaker and is able to stay home and raise their wonderful son, Elijah. On the outside, everything seems fine. However, behind closed doors Robin has been battling a long and abusive relationship with Brian. Nothing ever seems to be good enough for the "good" doctor, as he taunts and teases his wife consistently about her weight.
Feeling guilty and wanting to please her husband, Robin tries everything in her power to reignite the fire they once shared, but soon realizes that the fire she's hoping for might eventually burn her in return.
