This is a cracking good read set in a contemporary fictional town in Kent. (David Caddy, Tears in the Fence) Huge potential as a choice for reading groups, particularly as there is so much contemporary interest, and controversy, about the subject of gender dysphoria.
(Nudge Books) Overall. Clare's book is the best crime fiction discovery of the year for me and I'm rushing out to buy the sequel. (Brian Clegg)
