Résumé

Fear, whether it's imaginary or real, is one of the most powerful manipulators there is. Whether it's fear of unemployment, financial ruin, family disintegration, not having enough, lifestyle desires unfulfilled, or just a basic fear of failure, fear rules--and it disempowers.  This is a collection of poems chronicling one man's attempt over the years to finally come to grips with the role fear has played in his life.
It is at once a work of confession and an acknowledgement that reclaiming your life, your mind, means taking yourself out of the hands of the cultural engineers and the fake gods of greed and consumption and finally living on your own terms. To be sure, this is easier said than done. But it's well worth the try.
