It was freedom at last after Peter had taken that bold step and told the men at a breakfast meeting that he no longer believed that people who don't believe in Jesus Christ will go to eternal hell. He had been asked to speak at a Christian Men's Breakfast in Yangon, Myanmar. What they didn't know was that Peter had been secretly having serious doubts about his Christian religion. This meeting was the beginning of a journey to freely research and discover the truth about his religion, then leave Christianity and move on to a new spirituality.
I Left Christianity recounts Peter's journey from his youth to the present and the events, discoveries and experiences that influenced him to leave. And there were the painful repercussions of leaving. Where once Peter was bound to one religion, he now finds freedom to taste and see what others have to say, resulting in friendships with people from many faiths and walks of life.
