Résumé

Fear. Impatience. Anxiety. Regret. Worry. Grief. Loneliness. Marital stress. Anger. Temptation. Insecurity. Illness. There is an emotional staircase that descends into a state of hysteria and despair, where feelings take precedence over facts, self-control is lost, and souls are broken. We find ourselves in a world that is pummeling our senses and fueling our emotions. Political polarization. Divisive stereotypes.
Media madness. Broken relationships. Moral confusion. Chronic depression. How can we maintain balance and control in such an environment? And how can we be healed when these forces break our souls?Richard Davis examines 15 of the emotions that rob us of peace and threaten our health. But he doesn't stop there. After analyzing these emotional traps, he offers practical advice for how to avoid and escape them.
