They share an unusual trait of being able to switch bodies, which can be a little awkward since he's the only male of the three triplets.
Not only that, but he's the only one who is friends with Kiernan; his sisters despise Kiernan because he's so awkward around them and other people. However, when dealing with Kiernan's situation, Isaac faces his internal devil (his sisters' determination to stop him from becoming involved deeply with Kiernan). He permanently severs the connection that allowed him to switch bodies with his sisters.
Only time will tell whether or not that helps him give Kiernan a hand.
