Biographie de V. DuWayne Battle, Ph.D.

V. DuWayne Battle is the Senior Minister of the St. Paul Baptist Church in Harlem, New York City, New York. On the faculty of the School of Social Work at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, he is also president of Southwestern Social Work Association (SSWA) and National Association of Social Workers, New Jersey (NASW-NJ). Born in Washington, D. C., Dr. Battle earned the M. Div. and D.
Min. degrees from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Wake Forest, North Carolina, and the M. S. W. and Ph. D. degrees from Rutgers University. He has done further studies at Oxford University and Princeton Theological Seminary. In addition to Dr. Battle's twenty-five years of pastoral experience, his ministry has taken him to six continents. He has traveled extensively throughout the United States as well, where he has distinguished himself as an able preacher, teacher and workshop leader.
He is an innovative visionary, leading his congregation to experi¬ence renewal through a mission focus involving adoration, proclamation, supplication, reconciliation, and dedication.
