A team of detectives, already familiar to readers from Vampire League, Book 1, 2 and 3, is placed under the wing of a secret military organization which investigates cases that seem supernatural. General Dagwood gives them protection and support, but demands absolute submission in return. The scheme fits perfectly with the events from many years ago. The commissioner in charge of the case asks General Dagwood for help, because he suspects that supernatural forces are involved in the case. The son of Gerard is of the same opinion. He somehow does not seem surprised that his father is alive... Part 2 - This time the friends are sent to Bratislava to investigate a strange disease that has hit the entire village.
By the way, they also decide to solve, for relaxation, the mystery of the museum, which has been haunted for years. They do not know that they will be dealing with something far more dangerous than mere superstition... Part 3 - Winger, considered dead by the team of detectives, appears alive and well. This time he asks them for help in saving his ward, living in symbiosis with a creature from the dark world.
