Résumé

What is her name? What is his name? What is the name of the song he keeps hearing in the recesses of his mind? Somewhere in the answers to those questions lies the key to unlocking his memories. He can't remember what happened to her but she lays dead at his feet.  He can't remember her name but he knows he loves her.  Worse, he can't remember his own name or how he got here.  But he has to run from hard men sent by the woman in red who are coming to capture and torture him again because their grim secret lies buried in his subconscious. As the clock ticks down to a nightmarish terrorist attack on world leaders at a G20 summit in Vancouver, he is being hunted and human assets recruited by the invisible enemy in the LGBTQ+ community are being murdered. He must work with the shadowy MI6 and Mossad on a clandestine mission to restore his memories within 10 days to stop a nightmarish event that could trigger WWIII. Be prepared for a deep dive into the dark world of modern espionage, where one mistake can be your last and where no one is who they seem to be.  Not even the woman he loves. This ain't no Wonderland.

À propos de l'auteur

Biographie de Aaron McClelland

McClelland serves up three dimensional characters in his novels. Not your slick pulp cutouts you find in too many novels, but people with soul, haunted by their own demons and driven to make their way through life the only way they know how. McClelland's characters bleed when they're cut, aren't the toughest hombres on the landscape, and his female characters sweat, swear, and are as tough as their male counterparts when pushed too far; and they all love like tomorrow doesn't exist. If you want perfect characters, read someone else's books.
But if you want characters you can relate to - read his. McClelland now lives in a lakeside town in the Okanagan valley where tourists come to die. "It's a sad and beautiful world"
