James' dad always did like to play treasure hunt games with him. So much so that even after his death James finds one last map, but this one is larger than any other map he's ever used. Still it offers a nice reprieve from dealing with his father's estate, so he sets out on an adventure to find where the map will lead him. Jabal's pod of mermaids has been waiting for the return of a male figure, one to complete their pod.
When a presence makes it's way into the cavern she has a strong feeling who it is and that their wait will soon come to an end. They've traveled many miles for this and can barely hold back their excitement. Still, cooler heads prevail to take their time and investigate this new potential mate. While the cavern turns out less than full, the treasure his father led him to is greater than James could ever imagine, most certainly the pleasure is.
