Excess in all directions is the particularity of Megalopolis (Francis Ford Coppola, 2024). Sugar is not bad, Starches are neither, but overeating especially those two leads to obesity, atherosclerosis, arterial hypertension and early death. Or, as the Philosopher of Old (Hippocrates, 460-370BC) put it: "Every excess is against Nature!" A huge amount of textbooks is available, but most of the time out of grasp of general public. Also, a practical approach is frequently missing. I tried to summarize in this short text general ideas.
