When 14-year-old Oliver finds a mysterious, moving egg by his backyard pond, he has no idea of the adventure that's about to hatch. Eager to discover the origin of the egg Oliver and his friends enter a science fair at school in hopes of the science teacher helping with the identity. But when the egg escapes and begins to grow, Oliver and his friends find themselves at the center of an otherworldly mystery and trouble.
