Becky witnessed her parent's murder and after her testimony put two of the three men involved behind bars, she was put in the Witness Protection Program. After having her name changed four times in the same amount of months and after almost losing her life on three different occasions, she made her own plans for her safety. She was being sent to another state, under another name but took it upon herself to make a detour in Denver.
