Résumé

This book contains poetry (lyrics) about life and love. I have broken it into 2 sections with 15 poems related to life and 15 poems related to love. I did put in a lot of background for my poems in my notes, but every poem can, and often should, mean something different depending on the reader. It was not my intention to state an absolute meaning for a poem but to simply provide some background as to what inspired me to write.
Some people look for the method in the madness. I like to think that there is some madness in my methods. Instead of the traditional "About the Author" section at the end you will find out more about me in my notes if you're willing to read them (you may miss a few things if you don't).

Biographie de Kristopher Ivie

Awphul poetry is the epitome of bad poetry. It often has meter, it often has rhyme, and it usually isn't too abstract; it is almost everything that modern poets truly hate. The lines and stanzas almost never end mid-sentence, or with a preposition or conjugation. At times it can be musical or humorous which will make most poetry lovers cringe with an intense, searing disgust. It's like washing down a mouthful of needles with a glass of vinegar, only less stimulating / inspiring.
At least something truly awful will leave an impression, but awphul poetry is apparently so incredibly bad that it simply kills off your brain cells leaving no memory of the traumatic experience. So one must wonder why anyone would bother to consume this toxic mental concoction? One must also wonder why anyone would continue to write such unwanted garbage knowing full well that almost no one will ever want to read it? Then again, poetry has always been a way of sharing one's pain with the world.
If you're going to suffer through a book of poetry, why not try something awphul?
