Human evolution can be considered to be a lengthy procedureof several transformations in which the people originated fromthe ape-like ancestors. As the intelligent design focuses on whether the development oflife was blind or purposeful, it directly tends to challenge thesecond aspect of the Darwinian theory. Nevertheless, theintelligent design scientists are free for critically assessing theactual evidence for the common descent, as they do in thegiven script. Even if you consider yourself secular, religious, or something inbetween the two notions, the science of the origin of thehuman beings raises a deep and continuing questions aboutwhat is means to be human.
