Résumé

In the 1930's an elderly trumpet player and a Tibetan mystic combine their talents to compose a melody that will come as a revelation to listeners born under a future night sky. Generations later, an ordinary youth, 'Pimple' is deeply affected by the strange tune, and soon learns that he has been recruited into a wild and wonderful conspiracy to make the world a better place. He shares some unusual experiences with others who are also trying to unravel why, and what is happening to them, until a trip to America and a startling discovery high in the Smoky Mountains provides the answer.
Sadly all could be lost following a death on their return.

À propos de l'auteur

Biographie de Peter Scott

Peter Scott grew up in post war austerity Britain and joined the RAF. He was lucky enough to be posted to Kenya which sparked an interest in mountaineering and the local ecology, but it also acquainted him with the cruelty inherent in our own species. Later, as an aircraft engineer in various parts of the world he could see the difficulty of squaring rapid population growth without poverty and damage to the natural environment.
Now settled at home he dismally concludes that his own precious island is also struggling to be a green and pleasant land as the population heads for seventy million. Apart from being a general misery, he enjoys playing clarinet and jazz saxaphone; ranting on the BBC, and writing.
