As a young child growing up, poems have always been an interest of mine. I would wonder around libraries and stay for hours going through all the books on poetry, admiring the style and flow of words. I began writing my own poems once settled in school and later in life this became more a passion. Colleagues at work would encourage me to write poems for members of staff when leaving their jobs. Writing poems based on real life events and situations which we have all experienced came easy for me, but at the same time I like to also give support and spiritual guidance through my poems to encourage and help anyone who feels lost and alone.
I have been asked many times as to why I have not written a book featuring a selection of my poems, after being inspired by my brother I made the decision to do so.
