I found the story easy to follow (not a gazillion characters). It's a marvelous love story and the setting is beautiful. Patrice describes people and locations in a way that she puts you there! I loved both main characters, Brittany Holmes and Ashley Jordan Chase.
Patrice developed them very well so that you think they cold be real people. Lots of angst, happiness, family togetherness, and mystery of how their relationship will end up. I must warn you.... I would give this an R rating.........lots of sexual content (done very well). What I didn't like: Really, nothing! As a reader, I would love to know what happens next in their relationship.
